How long have you been working as a mortgage lender?
I was in sales selling food to restaurants with US Foodservice prior to my friend getting me into the mortgage business. Mortgage lending was a natural fit as my mom was a Realtor for 30 years and my dad, an architect/developer/builder.
What is one piece of advice you give to home buyers?
Most important piece of advice is to choose professionals that really care about the process and education. Also, that home values almost always go up- so the sooner you buy, generally, the better.
What is your favorite part of the work you do?
That’s a tough one. Over the last 8 years, I’ve really loved growing and building a team that feels like a family. At the same time, I very much value the relationships I’ve built with my real estate partners, as well as making each client feel like they’re the only clients I have.
What is your favorite local restaurant?
Café Tiramisu. I’ve been going there almost as many years as I’ve lived in the area. Nearly all the same servers work there, the service is fantastic, and the food is amazing.
What is your favorite place to visit on the weekend?
My golf course (North Ridge). There are 2 gorgeous courses to choose from, and I may be biased, but they’re my favorite to play at in the area.
